2010 Conventions Part 2 July 19, 2010

Continued from Part 1 …

Then it was off to San Jose, CA for Fanime May 28-31, where we glimpsed a mischievous side to Happi Paper.

Now a mad dash up to Dallas, TX for A-Kon June 4-6, where I found my first ever Abby Sciuto from NCIS!

Lastly … Anime Expo, July 1-4 in Los Angeles, CA for some awesome Disney Princesses and Villains!

Now that I’ve gotten caught up with a few of my favorite pictures from the first half of our convention season, perhaps I can stay on top of it this time. Heading out the door to San Diego Comic Con followed immediately by Otakon in Baltimore.

2010 Conventions – Part 1 May 22, 2010

So…

First there was MegaCon – March 12 -14 in Orlando, FL where Happi was adored.

Then it was on to Seattle, WA for Sakura-Con, where Ace Ventura was spotted.

Followed by a solo appearance by yours truly at C2E2 in Chicago, IL April 16 -18 where I snagged the kyootest pic of a girl and her new Happi Paper plushie.

Back to Chicago, IL for Anime Central May 14-16, where we had the most adorable models for our kids dresses.

New Look & Feel March 1, 2010

I’ve been working on updating the look and feel of this blog. I am thus far happy with the outcome but am still planning on incorporating my Chibi and some of the BeKyoot characters into the overall design. I welcome any feedback and ideas!

In BeKyoot news:  Christy launched another redesign of the main BeKyoot website if you haven’t seen it already be sure to check it out. Be sure to check back often as she posts new webcomics on Mondays and new Wallpapers on Fridays. We are working on finalizing our convention list and I am dreaming up ways to create a new costume or two! Hopefully Happi Paper will have some company when he goes out and about. If you would like us to consider a convention in your area drop us a line and tell us about it at info (at) bekyoot (dot) com.

This kyoot chibi of me was created by Christy for part of the new and improved BeKyoot Website. I love it!!! She has me carrying a big cup of coffee and wearing my comfy fleece lined down slippers. My name is written in Kanji along the right.

I am going to figure out a place to put her on this blog as I am currently working on a new layout.

Contest Details:

All entries must be received before midnight on January 31, 2010 to qualify. The winning entry will be picked by February 6th, 2010. All entries will be posted to the BeKyoot Facebook page. The winning entry will be posted online on the BeKyoot Facebook page, my blog, Christy’s blog, and the main BeKyoot website for a week, after which the winning entry will be moved to our gallery.
